 YRMC Volunteers are known as "the heart of the hospital." They contribute nearly 60,000 hours a year serving in virtually every department or service area in our hospital.
We are always looking for volunteers in our Gift Shop, Snack Bar and the Daily Grind.
Our volunteer work force is community-based. The spectrum of volunteers ranges from working adults, homemakers and retirees to college and high school students. Each volunteer is required to serve a minimum of four hours per month.
All new volunteers must complete an application and interview, and must attend a general orientation. Each volunteer also must complete an initial on-the-job training period.
