Yuma Regional Plaza Laboratory is a full-service clinical laboratory that has been serving the Yuma community for more than 15 years. The lab is licensed by the state of Arizona and is certified by the College of American Pathologists as well as by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA '88), which created uniform federal standards for laboratory testing.
Yuma Regional Plaza Laboratory uses state-of-the-art equipment to conduct the following testing on site:
- Chemistry
- Coagulation
- Hematology
- Microbiology
- Serology
- Therapeutic Drugs
- Urinalysis
- Drug Screening
No appointments are necessary, and the lab accepts many insurance plans, including Medicare. If a patient has an insurance plan that is not accepted, the lab will bill the insurance company as a courtesy.
